Our certified instructor guides you safely in the kayak so you confidently can make your way around the lakes. This course works as a really good introduction if you are considering to start kayaking. You will be given the basic abilities in a fun and playing approach. The essential of the course is the good experience.
Program for kayak intro course:
This kayak intro course starts off with a brief introduction on land. Shortly after, we launch the kayaks. In the kayaks we practice the basic techniques, we play and we challenge our on water balances. Depending on the wishes and skills among the participants, we will cover the following:
- What security messures to consider when kayaking
- Confidentiality with the kayak and introduction to basic techniques
- Maneuvering the kayak
- Exit when capsizing and rescuing your capsized buddy/partner/rowing buddy
What’s so great about kayaking?
Kayaking offers a good opportunity to enjoy nature in a different way than on land. It is a great joy to glide silently through the water and get close to birds and animals in the untouched nature you otherwise cannot get to from land.
We work in small teams on the kayak intro course
At Outdoor Connection, there are a maximum of 8 participants in each course team. This means that there is plenty for everyone and for a personal course where you are seen by the instructor and where you are taken into account.
The program of the kayak intro course will be adapted to the wishes and skills of the participants.
